Unless otherwise agreed upon, the following are the basic specifications
required of our appointed RTC or designated institutions/schools (including
Smart Schools and State Teacher Activity Centres), to conduct a Master
Facilitator (MF) Workshop.
Minimum PC Lab Specifications:
- At least 21 PCs with full Multimedia Kit
(CD-ROM drive, sound card, speakers/headphones)
- Intel Pentium MMX 166 MHz processor or above
(i.e. Celeron, PII, or PIII)
- 32 MB RAM
- 500 MB free space on hard disk
- 1.44 MB Floppy Drive
- SVGA display
- Operating System: MS Windows 95 or 98
- Software: MS Office 97 or 2000 Professional
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ClipArt, Publisher)
- IE or Netscape Navigator browser
- Printer (preferably ink jet or laser)
Network:
- All machines to be networked
Internet Access (shared
ISDN, leased or 56K dial-up line):
- On all PCs, or
- A group of PCs, or
- 1 dedicated PC
Power Supply:
- Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for each PC
with backup power for a minimum of 15 minutes. (optional)
